With Halloween right around the corner, now is the perfect time to teach your furry friend some tricks! In this article, we are going to be guiding you through some of the best and simplest tricks and some treat recommendations.

Trick 1- High-five

Up first, one of the most common tricks to teach your dog is to get your dog to do a high-five. High-fives are simple to teach your dog as it is quite like shaking paws. The secret to high-five is that a dog’s natural way of getting your attention is to tap you with their paws.

If you want to give this trick a try with your dog, place a few small treats in your hand and close your fist. Then, ask your dog for paw, this way then your dog can get familiar with the “high-five” or “paw” command, and they will know that they will be rewarded with treats.

Trick 2- Fetch

Another popular command is fetch. It’s a classic! It’s a trick that doesn’t always come naturally so here we have provided a few simple tips to help your dog to learn the fetch command. Try throwing a toy that they love and will play with, then encourage your dog to bring the toy back to you and reward them with treats.
