How To Prepare Your Dog for Doggy Daycare

Are you considering sending your furry friend to Bolton's number one doggy daycare Centre? If so, you have come to the right place because here at Your Pets Pals, we have 4760 square feet of space of pure paradise for your four-legged friend. We can tackle any dog no matter the breed, size, or personal requirements, there is nothing we cannot take on. Before you send your dog to any type of daycare facility, there are a couple of steps you must ensure are taken to prepare for the big day.

Vaccinations:

As obvious as it may sound, it is vital to ensure your dog has had all and is completely up to date with the necessary vaccinations to ensure the safety of not only your dog but the other dogs they will be socialising with.

Pack the essential:

Perhaps your dog has dietary requirements so needs special food or treats throughout the day or maybe they have a comfort toy or blanket. If so, pack those up in a bag and bring them as familiar items from home can really help with the settlement into the facility.

Trial day:

Most dog owners would prefer a trial run day just to test how well their dog gels with the other pups and if they settle well into the environment. This will also give you the owner peace of mind knowing their pup is having fun and fits in well.

Socialisation:

Although doggy daycare will teach your dog how to socialise and interact, it is still important that they have basic socialisation skills. Taking them to the local park is a great way to start. Or even arrange a playdate with a buddy.

Every dog is different, so it is important to communicate closely with the daycare staff so you can tailor a plan that is best suited for your pup, so they are guaranteed to have a pawsome time.
